The debate as to whether man should return to the Moon or venture to Mars has lasted nearly as long as time itself. Should we stick to what we know, or venture out further afar to the unknown territories of Mars?
Although man may want to explore and test the surface of Mars, experts say it is too soon. “If we started going to Mars any time soon everybody would die. We don’t know what we are doing yet. We have to have a bunch of inventions between now and Mars”, declared Chris Hadfield, the first Canadian to walk in space, at a Guardian Live event in London on Sunday. “Where we are going to go next is the moon. That’s where we are going to go because it just makes sense. It is only three days away and we can invent so many things.”
Well-known space engineers and pilots are now starting to show their Moon or Mars support via slogan t-shirts. Legendary astronaut, Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the moon, is advocating a mission to Mars by the 50th anniversary of the 1969 moon landing, via his “Get your ass to Mars” t-shirt below.

However, David Masten, rocket designer and founder of Masten Space Systems, has shown his support for another moon landing with his slogan t-shirt:
Do you think slogan t-shirts are the way to express your opinion?
