A new organic clothing range is being launched later this month by the UK firm Saf and their printing associates T Shirt and sons. This range is wholesale and it is Soil Association certified organic cotton clothing. This clothing range is going to be first shown at the Soil Association’s yearly conference that is held at the Cardiff’s international arena on the twenty fifth of January. T Shirt and sons is the only soil association certified screen printer in the United Kingdom. Louise Byrne from Saf said “We are delighted to have met the strict organic and social standards as set out by the Soil Association’s organic cotton standards,” and added “Customers can now be confident in the knowledge that Saf T shirts they acquire are not only reducing the environmental impact of cotton production but are also contributing positively to the social and economic development of farmers in some of the poorest areas in the world.” It has taken both companies two years work to create the range ready for this year’s conference.
Saf sends blank t-shirts to T Shirt and sons who then prints the designs onto the shirts. Both companies have already supplied printed T-shirts, made of cotton, to people like Greenpeace and the Vegan Society as well as Griffin. Saf says that by having the Soil Association backing their printed T-shirts this will give consumers the confidence to buy from their range. Other Soil Association certified brands are also being shown at the conference such People Tree, Green Fibres and Sea Soil. Other organic brands will also be there including Howies and Green Baby. Louise Bryne also said “We want to make organic cotton clothing a mainstream choice for organisations when planning their clothing purchases. Whether it is because it relates to their brand, their corporate social responsibility policies or their specific event messages, by choosing organic cotton clothing, organisations know they are sourcing from a traceable supply chain and contributing to clear producer and textile worker benefits.”

the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.
Delighted with the results. Very popular so repeat orders very likely.
great service, no problems at all
