What Next...Hydrating Personalised T-Shirts?

Monday 10th of December 2012 10:41:41 PM
What Next...Hydrating Personalised T-Shirts?Okay...what will the fashion designers think of next? You may think there is not much left to do with jeans other than add some ornamentation, but you would be wrong. Sorry....but the fashion designers are furiously working to come up with some new fads and the results can only be called unusual. For example, you can now buy Aloe Vera denim jeans. They hydrate your skin while wearing them. There are also Work Out jeans, for those who find cotton shorts too comfortable (just kidding).

The fashion labels say they want to develop different types of jeans so consumers can buy ones that are just perfect for their needs. Denim sellers are having a tough time financially because there are so many other choices in colourful trousers. People do not want to wear blue day-in and day-out. They want colour and especially in the summer.

You may be wondering how Aloe Vera jeans work. Well...the aloe vera plant adheres to the denim fibres and rubs into the skin each time the jeans are worn. Aloe vera is supposed to have anti-ageing and UV protection properties. These innovation jeans were launched by the Dutch Brand Gsus. Wrangler has a similar style called the Denim Spa. What’s next – hydrating personalised polo shirts? It does not seem fair that your body below the waist is hydrated while your back, chest and arms are left high and dry!

Fashion designers have mostly targeted women. Many of the brands have designed jeans that are meant to accentuate your best features and disguise your flaws. Designers of jeans for men have chosen to focus on sports instead. Nike and Levi’s created jeans for male skaters and work out jeans.

Maybe one day you will be able to buy hydrating jeans and tees, but for now you will have to settle for soft skin on half of your body. So what’s next in the world of jeans and personalised shirts? Only the fashion designers know.
