Most schools in the United States and in other countries have a dress code which includes banning printed T-shirts and other clothing with slogans that are offensive. In recent years, t-shirts with provocative slogans have become more apparent, but some school administrators see this as a trend that is unlikely to continue as fashion trends change.Denny Mills, a middle school principal in California, USA, has seen less and less of this type of dress code violation this school year. “It’s beginning to diminish a bit,” she said. She also said that she has witnessed may trends in the ten years she has been involved in school administration. “This too shall pass,” she said in regards to slogans on t-shirts.
But many schools are trying to stop their students from participating in these trends by banning shirts that bear offensive slogans. Students have to remove the shirts and give them to school officials who will hold them until their parents come and sign for them. Many schools believe that this type of parental involvement is essential in teaching students how to follow rules and obey authority.
According to many school dress codes in the United States, students cannot wear clothing with slanderous slogans or sell them on school grounds. Students caught selling printed T-shirts could be suspended.
Even though this effort to teach children between right and wrong and how to follow authority, there are parents who feel their children should wear whatever they want to school. A few parents are even applauding their children for disobeying school policy.
While this is not true of many parents, this can send mixed messages to children. Milian Wollard, principal in a high School in California,USA is worried about the signals some parents are sending to their children. “It just really bothers me,” he said after one incident where parents wore the printed T-shirtstheir son made to a basketball game after the shirts were banned from school grounds.

the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.
Delighted with the results. Very popular so repeat orders very likely.
great service, no problems at all
