Saving national fisheries is the goal of the Recreational Fishing Alliance and Jack Savas of Agui Vintage Clothing. His design was chosen to be used on promotional Clothing that will be sold in order to raise money for the conservation of marine fisheries and the rights of recreational fishermen.“The fish are in crisis mode right now. (The campaign) is intended to bring to people's attention that we need to be more responsible with our environment,” said Savas, who became involved in preserving the environment while working for the United States commerce department. When he left to pursue a career in the clothing industry, he took the idea of environmental preservation with him.
All shirts are printed separately, which means that each of them is unique. printed T-shirts will feature a drowning fish, which symbolises the need to save the environment and preserve land and water for fisheries.
In addition to concerns about land and water preservation, the RFA is also worried about recreational fishermen and their rights. "Commercial fishermen have their own groups sticking up for them. It came down to, `Who's sticking up for recreational fishermen?'” said David Miller, who is the marketing director for RFA, which has about 36,000 members.
It is the hope of the RFA to raise awareness of not only their cause, but also of the organisation itself, by selling these printed T-shirts. Adding new members will allow the causes of the organisation to be taken more seriously.
(c)James Daly, www.sxc.hu Shirts will be on sale at the end of February for about $32.00 and will be available in sporting goods stores and online. printed T-shirts are made of cotton and are considered to be very comfortable. “Many of our customers sleep in the shirt because it's so comfortable,” said Savas.
the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.
Delighted with the results. Very popular so repeat orders very likely.
great service, no problems at all
