the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.

Stow-Away Cat

Monday 19th of February 2007 05:58:15 PM

Stow-Away CatWhile exploring a moving van parked next door, Pickles, a calico cat, was locked in and taken to Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA by accident. After unloading the truck, the driver, who didn’t see the cat in the truck, shut the doors and began the drive from Arkansas to Florida. The next day, the driver, who is allergic to cats, found Pickles and took the cat to a nearby animal shelter. He punched holes in a moving box and captured Pickles before she had a chance to escape. He also tracked down the owners of the cat to tell them what had happened.

Since then, Pickles has been staying at the Panhandle Animal Welfare Society. The plane ride from Arkansas to Florida would have cost her owners over three thousand dollars, so Pickles will be transported home instead. "One way or another, she's going to come back to Arkansas before too long,” said Ryan Clayton, who is Pickles owner.

Pickles has received very good care at the animal shelter and will be going home with a few presents including printed T-shirts that reads, ‘My cat went to Fort Walton Beach and all I got was this lousy T-shirt.’ Pickles and the t-shirt will sent back to Arkansas to be reunited with the family that loves her.

There have been many documented accounts of lost cats who find their owners months later, but this is one incident where the owners of the cat were found quickly and the cat did not have to find its way home.

It is always important to find outdoor cats at different times during the day so that they do not become trapped or lost. Cats enjoy exploring new places and do not understand that there are consequences.
