the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.

Dressing for a Cruise

Wednesday 21st of February 2007 11:39:09 PM

Dressing for a CruiseThe days of strict dress codes aboard cruise ships are beginning to disappear as more and more passengers are insisting that they should be allowed to wear what they want to wear instead of being told what to wear. Many cruise lines now offer cruise packages that are considered more casual, meaning people can wear polo shirts, shorts, and sandals to most events during the day, and slacks and embroidered shirts for the evening. This change in dress code is to attract more people to take cruises.

Even though some cruise lines have strict evening dress codes, many cruise lines are allowing people to wear whatever they want. It is not uncommon to see people in expensive dresses and tuxedos alongside people wearing printed T-shirts and long pants. When packing for a cruise, do not bring too much clothing, but bring enough variety in order to fit in. Asking for cruise dress codes and other information will also help.

Since cabins are usually small on board many ships, bringing a small suitcase seems to be the most logical choice. Bring clothing that does not have to be ironed or pressed, and clothing that can be worn more than once during the cruise. If an evening event is planned, some cruise lines have tuxedo rentals so that people do not have to bring more than they have to on the ship.

For the most part, people will wear printed T-shirts during the day and more expensive clothing during the evening. While the dress codes have changed, many people enjoy getting dressed up for evening events when on a cruise. Knowing what to bring on the cruise will help people make sure they have everything they will need to have a good time while on their cruise.
