Along with Los Angeles, California, USA, Chicago, Illinois, has put in a bid to host the 2016 Olympic Games. To commemorate the event, the Chicago 2016 Committee, which consists of Chicago Mayor Richard Daly, his wife Maggie, and committee head Pat Ryan, have opened two stores that will promote the games by selling 2,016 long-sleeved printed T-shirts that feature the slogan, ‘Stir the Soul’. Shirts will be on sale for thirty dollars apiece until they sell out.“We are delighted the Chicago 2016 Shop will help spread the Olympic spirit,” said Maggie Daley, at the opening of the stores. Chicago 2016 shops are located in Chicago’s Water Tower Place and in Macy’s on State Street.
“On the eve of winning the nomination of the U.S. Olympic city, we are prepared. And we are excited to show them Chicago . . . and excited about showing them our plans for the games,” said Ryan. The city needs sixty votes by the United States Olympic Committee in order to be nominated for consideration.
The USOC has spent the last few days in Los Angeles listening to that cities bid to host the games. Both cities have plenty to offer in terms of space for outdoor events, swimming facilities, and lodging for everyone involved in the games. Even though the committee will not render its decision until 2009, both cities are being carefully considered.
The Mayor and the rest of his committee have wasted no time promoting the idea of hosting the Olympic Games in Chicago. Posters in the subway, at airports, and now the stores that will sell other merchandise after the printed T-shirts sell out including hats, banners, and buttons. This advertising campaign is to get the public’s support and create enthusiasm about hosting the 2016 Olympic Games.

the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.
Delighted with the results. Very popular so repeat orders very likely.
great service, no problems at all
