the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.

Running for St. Patrick’s Day

Wednesday 14th of March 2007 06:28:28 PM

Running for St. Patrick’s DayAbout 3,000 runners will be running in the streets of Holyoke, Massachusetts, USA on March 17th, which is St. Patrick’s Day. The celebration is an all-day event, which includes a six mile marathon. Bands, food, and other events will also be taking place. For those who participate in the race, they will be given printed T-shirts to remember the day. “We have always been known for giving out quality T-shirts, but this year will be extra special. The T-Shirts will be green with the colors of the Irish Flag on it as well, and we will only use this pattern when the race falls on March 17,” race coordinator Mike Tierney said.

This is the 32nd year for the race, which started in 1976. “When we started back in 1976, we were one of many races run in the area, but the others seem to have died out. The WAQY race and one in West Springfield are gone, but what kept us going was being part of the St. Pat's weekend, and also giving the runners a quality event for their buck,” Tierney said. Some of the original one hundred and eighty-nine people who ran in the first race come back each year.

In addition to printed T-shirts, runners will be eligible to win prizes including money, and will be able to enjoy a meal after the race. For some, returning to this race has become a family tradition. “I haven't run in the race for maybe 15 years, but this year, my son wanted me to run with him. I'll probably be in the back of the pack, but that doesn't matter because it's something we'll be doing together,” runner Skip Clayton said of his participation.

And for those who don’t want to run, they will be able to stand on the sidelines and cheer on their friends and family.
