Vintage T-shirts from Hotel Chain

Saturday 17th of March 2007 12:48:37 AM

Vintage T-shirts from Hotel ChainThere are many Holiday Inn hotels all over the world and many people have stayed in one during a family vacation or business trip. Now, the company is giving everyone a chance to relive their experiences by selling vintage-looking printed T-shirtswith funny phrases such as ‘Please Do Not Disturb’ on the front. The hotel doe not yet have an online store to sell the shirts, but the company who designed the shirts, Junk Food Clothing, will be featuring the shirts on their web site. promotional Clothing will also be sold at some department stores.

In an effort to return to the nostalgia of yesteryear, Holiday Inn wanted to showcase their customer service and also remind travellers that they are always there for them. The company’s press release is quoted as saying “…but with a wink and a smile that shows we are continuing to evolve for today's traveller.” Even though a night’s stay at a Holiday Inn cost around six American dollars when the hotel was first opened in 1952, promotional Clothing will be sold for around thirty-five American dollars. Even though inflation has caused everything to go up in price, it is difficult to imagine that rooms were so inexpensive at one time. Today, a room may cost one-hundred American dollars or more depending on the location.

Wearing promotional Clothing that features the Holiday Inn logo and catchy sayings should make the company more well-known. Everyone loves to read t-shirts, and they may be reminded of the first night they ever stayed at the hotel. The company hopes this will cause more people to choose their hotel above others when travelling. T-shirts can be worn by adults and children alike. They are available in department stores such as Saks.
