Lands End Business Outfitters is sponsoring a contest whose winners will be three companies that are in need of a uniform makeover. The company, whose holdings are with Sears, will be taking entries for this contest until the end of May. “We have helped hundreds of thousands of companies of all sizes -- from mom and pop shops to multinational corporations -- build brand awareness through their employee apparel programs. We've decided to use our expertise and award three deserving companies complete apparel makeovers,” said the VP of Land’s End Business Outfitters, John Maher. In order to promote the idea of branding, which is a marketing term used to build product recognition through uniforms, logos, and other media, the company will choose three companies, help them decide on business attire that suits their needs, and then feature the companies in a photo layout for their upcoming catalogue. Many companies already make use of branding techniques and are very pleased with what Land’s End has done for their business.
“We chose Lands' End Business Outfitters because we wanted to create an attractive, unified image. When members interact with our employees, they are welcomed by a fresh, simplified look, which complements the services they receive. Lands' End has been a huge hit inside and outside our company,” said the president and CEO of the South Carolina Credit Union, Scott Woods.
By offering to help companies improve their uniforms, Land’s End Business Outfitters is also increasing their brand by showcases how versatile their clothing is for small and large businesses. As more companies struggle to earn customer loyalty and return business, being instantly recognisable is important. Branding can help companies bring in more business and hopefully see return business as well.
