When Fifth Sun graphic designs, started by Dan Gonzalas, merged with his brothers t-shirt printing company, neither knew the amount of merchandise they would be manufacturing. After his brother moved from California, USA to New Mexico, USA, Gonzalas was on his own. Sold in boutiques, concerts, and other events, Gonzalas’ designs have been featured on t-shirts, hats, bikinis, and other clothing. He also has celebrity clients like Carlos Santana, who place orders for printed T-shirts that are sold at concerts, and others including the World Wrestling Federation. “Our designers are always looking at everything — fashion magazines, trade journals — looking for inspiration for the next design,” said Gonzalas. Since starting his company twelve years ago, Fifth Sun makes about US$20 million each year and has a workforce of about fifty people.
Since their production lines have grown over the years, Gonzalas decided to move the company to a larger space. Although he does not want his company to grow too big, he must find ways to keep up with the demand. “I like being small, being under the radar. It's not that we can't do it, but there's a human cost to getting big. I want to make sure we're treating employees well, and that they have a comfortable place to work,” said Gonzalas.
Gonzalas employees include family members such as his brother, his wife, and their four children. His 13-year old daughter runs the snack shop after school and the entire family pitches in to put tags on shirts and other production line duties.
Being a small graphic design label is one of Gonzalas’ goals, but with so many people wanting his designs, it may be difficult to remain a small company forever.

Good all round. Will order again.
the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.
