For many who attend sporting events in the US, air cannons have become a familiar site. They have also been featured on television shows for promotional purposes. Air Cannons, Inc. has developed a way to shrink wrap promotional Clothing and other promotional items and launch them into the crowd faster than before. This means that companies, sports teams, and others will be able to giveaway more promotional items in order to increase branding.printed T-shirts were originally wrapped in rubber bands to keep them from unwinding during flight, but shrinking wrapping is a safer, more cost effect way to launch merchandise into the crowd. Whenever the shirts are launched into the air, the crowd becomes louder and happier. “The minute the t-shirt cannons or slingshots come on the court, field or ice, every man, woman or child of any age is up screaming their head off trying to get a free t-shirt. They have no idea what is on the shirt. They know the chances of getting one are slim, but it doesn't matter. It's t-shirts gone wild,” said Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks.
Air Cannons, Inc. hopes that this new way of sending t-shirts into the crowd will attract more customers. The company has printing services that will custom design shirts and other merchandise. “The new shrink wrap service will help our clients shoot more printed T-shirts and products into crowd and increase their branding. We know the crowds light up when our cannons come out during breaks, and we're looking forward to seeing that happen more often with our new shrink service and the greater variety of products shot into the crowd,” said Jake Wilson, co-owner of Air Cannons, Inc.
Air Cannons, Inc. has been in business for ten years and has launched many t-shirts and other merchandise into the air during sports events and other large public gatherings.
