the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.

Runners of the London Marathon

Tuesday 24th of April 2007 11:48:24 PM

Runners of the London MarathonMany people dressed up to run this year’s London Marathon, which helped raise money for Leukaemia awareness. There were pirates, Elvis impersonators, and even a woman who knitted during the race. Those wearing various coloured printed T-shirts and other items ran alongside professional runners, first-timers, and those who have run in the marathon before. “It's exciting to be part of the same race as some of the world's top runners...it's the ultimate test... you can do it and still have a life,” said marathon runner, Ellie Taylor. The marathon was 26.2 miles and took most people a good portion of the day to complete.

Those who have run in the London marathon before were able to finish in two or three hours. "Marathons are very unpredictable, you can have good luck or bad luck...it's the physical challenge you seek," said Simon Dobbs, a marathon runner who has completed several marathons. Being able to raise money for a worthy cause makes it easier to finish the race, however long it takes. “We expect to raise over one million pounds,” said Maggie Dyke, from Children with Leukaemia, the organisation everyone was running for.

People from all over the world including the United States, Australia, Norway, and Zimbabwe came to take part in the marathon along with many UK citizens. A total of 30,000 runners were present. "It was difficult to get through the masses of charity runners at the beginning...maybe it was just too warm, but still, I'm pleased," said runner Bjoern Reiss. Other runners were very pleased to have run the race as well. "In Norway, people are very passive during races like that and even throw insults at you. Here it's been great. Everyone's supporting you all the way,” said runner Margareta Baumann.
