UK’s Weymouth Football Club has begun selling team merchandise on their own web site and in stores. WHSmith will be carrying the clubs sports apparel which includes printed T-shirts, hats, home shirts, and other gear. Fans from all over the world will also be able to order these items online. "Fans will be able to pay from anywhere in the world by cheque or credit card and the merchandise will be distributed directly to them,” said Mark Golsby, who designed the club’s web site. New items such as mugs, scarves, polo shirts will be added monthly to increase fan interest.The club has had a very successful year. Jason Mathews, Terras keeper, was named player of the year after the last game of the season. He also won another award for scoring a goal against Southport.
Player’s player of the year went to Terras midfielder Nick Crittenden.
Being able to sell team merchandise after having played a great season will certainly help sales and give the team instant recognition.
In addition to selling merchandise online and in stores, the Weymouth Supporters’ Trust is now registered and considered a legal entity. This means that membership pledges are now available. "We are very keen to move things forward as it has been quite frustrating waiting for the legalities to be completed. The level of interest has been remarkable,” said chairman of the working group, Stephen Bosely.

the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.
Delighted with the results. Very popular so repeat orders very likely.
