Kwintet, the leading clothing manufacturer of professional clothing and corporate wear including uniforms in Europe is expanding its operations by agreeing to purchase Labels, a Dutch corporate clothing label. ”With Labels joining the Kwintet group, we are now able to further strengthen our offer for large customers, requesting complete European solutions. Corporate wear is an important strategic area for us, where we plan to expand further through acquisitions and organic growth alike,” says Kwintet CEO, Anders Groenlund.Labels has 45 employees and a reputation for offering excellent customer service. The company has also acquired many customers over the years. The company will become part of Kwintet Corporate Wear, which caters to companies like McDonald's.
In 2005, Kwintet was purchased by Industri Kapital. The company designs clothing under many different labels including Kansas, Fristads, Wenaas, KLM Kleding, Adolphe Lafont, Hejco and A-code Active Wear. In addition to purchasing Labels, Kwintet also purchased The Cotton Group, a promotional Clothing company based in Belgium.
Labels director Hans Krekelaar has high hopes for the acquisition. “We expect significant growth in the Dutch and European corporate wear market in the coming years, which promises to be a very exciting time for us. Bolstered by the expertise and strong support of the Kwintet group we will be able to grow our existing business and expand into new “service wear” segments.”
