DangerMouse, a favourite cartoon character is turns twenty-five this year and is enjoying new found popularity with children and adults. New licensing deals with FreemantleMedia Enterprises, who owns to rights to the character and his sidekick Penfold, is allowing Smiffy's and Global Licensing Limited to produce costumes, printed T-shirts, hoodies, and other clothing for men, women, and children to sell in various shops in the UK and online."The response we've had from both licensees and retailers alike clearly illustrates the ongoing strength and interest in the brand and we look forward to ensuring DangerMouse stays at the forefront of consumers' minds, where he belongs," said Dominic Burns. FremantleMedia senior VP of licensing.
FreemantleMedia will also be releasing a commemorative CD box set that includes episodes of the DangerMouse cartoon show. UK retailers that will be carrying the merchandise include Topshop, Woolworths, Tesco, and New Look. printed T-shirts and other clothing will also be available in record shops including Virgin and HMV. This is the first time that FreemantleMedia has worked with record stores to sell its merchandise.
Other items such as plush dolls, key rings, and other merchandise will also be sold.

the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.
Delighted with the results. Very popular so repeat orders very likely.
