the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.

Direct-to-Garment Printing Technology

Saturday 21st of July 2007 04:21:41 AM

Direct-to-Garment Printing TechnologyThere have been many advances in the garment industry over the years. Direct-to-garment printing has made it easier to not only print complicated, intricate images onto t-shirts and other items, but it has also allowed smaller runs of a design become an affordable option. Because the image is printed directly onto the item without having to transfer it first, the images are clearer, more crisp, and vibrant.

Since the demand for these types of garment printers has increased, there are now many affordable ones on the market. They are also easier to use and transport when attending trade shows or clothing fairs. Direct-to-garment printers can also save t-shirt printing companies money because the images cost less to print since transfer paper and other substrates are not needed. The process does not require employees to spend as much time filling orders either, which means that more order can be filled each day.

Images that are made using a direct-to-garment printer have fewer blurred edges than inkjet and screen printing techniques. There are many colour combinations that can be produced, which makes t-shirt printing companies very happy. Being able to achieve the level of perfection that they want for their customers was unheard of a few years ago. Direct-to-garment printers will work for large and small printing companies and will hopefully increase profits and productivity.
