the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.

No More Minimum Orders

No More Minimum OrdersWith digital printing technology, small t-shirt printing companies no longer have to turn away customers who only want one or two shirts printed for an event. In the past, larger runs were more cost effective because of the painstaking screen printing process. Now, small companies can print off images one at a time and transfer them to the shirt in about three minutes. Not only will companies save time and money on supplies and materials, customers will be receiving a one-of-a-kind design.

After printing off the number of images needed for printed T-shirts, images can be saved as any digital file on a computer to be used at any time. Creating customer accounts and reprinting previous designs is very easy. Digital images also offer more colour combinations and clean lines that used to take hours using old printing methods. This allows companies to travel to trade shows, fairs, and open markets to show off their goods without having to haul a lot of equipment.

t-shirt printing companies have two types of digital printing machines, inkjet transfer and direct-to-garment. The major difference is in each one's ability to adhere to different fabrics. Inkjet printers for example are better for cotton blends and polyester materials, while direct-to-garment printers are best for 100% cotton shirts.

When purchasing a digital printer, t-shirt designers should choose the one that will work best with the fabrics they use most often in order to get the desired results.
