the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.

Comic Book T-shirts

Tuesday 24th of July 2007 11:35:14 PM

Comic Book T-shirtsComic book fans and those who remember popular television shows from the 1950's and 60's will find the new t-shirt line 'Atomic Madhouse' funny and endearing at the same time. Using some of the most popular catchphrases in American television, designers Frank Forte and Elizabeth J. Musgrave have created several unique printed T-shirts for fans and collectors.

"We are excited about our new designs and think they appeal to a select audience. My inspiration comes from 1950s design, Silver age comic books, animation, and punk rock posters. I am incorporating all of my artistic background into t-shirts that I would want to wear. Elizabeth is coming up with some great slogans and catchphrases that capture the 'now' moments. I take that and use a cool font, break it up, and make it look faded with a retro feel. At that point, the design part is over. Then Elizabeth and I decide on color. What comes out of the collaboration is very satisfying," said Forte.

Designs that are the most popular are from television shows such as 'Batman'. "T-shirts are not only great way to initiate conversation with others and express how you feel, but they also reflect what's going on in the world. We're going to start on-line and then try to get the apparel line into boutiques and trendy clothing stores," said Musgrave.

'Atomic Madhouse' printed T-shirts are currently on display in San Diego, California, USA.
