the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.

Helping Sister City by Donating Football Jerseys

Monday 27th of August 2007 05:57:06 PM

Helping Sister City by Donating Football JerseysThe Serbian city of Novi Sad will soon receive boxes of promotional Clothing including football jerseys donated by football fans from their twin city Norwich, England. The cities share the same team colours and have over the years developed a close friendship that has helped both cultures learn more about each other. “The youngsters in Novi Sad are all football-mad, and when I visited all they wanted to talk about was football. But the local football team, FK Novi Sad has fallen on hard teams since the collapse of Yugoslavia, and it has not had any hot water or electricity for about four years. But it still specialises in producing youth players and it export players across Europe. Amazingly, they play in yellow shirts and their nickname is the Canaries,” said Richard Mill, who has visited the city and who will be returning to present the shirts after they have all been collected. To get people involved, the football club held a promotional Clothing event that offered discounts to those who donated their old shirts when purchasing new ones. “The football club has been very good in allowing these shirts to be shipped to Serbia. There are so many youngsters out there who are desperately poor that I'm sure these shirts will be very popular. We might even have to set up a City supporters' club there in the future,” said Norwich’s Lord Mayor, Roy Blower. For over 40 years, the two cities have enjoyed a friendship that has allowed the creation of student exchange programs, frequent visits by public officials, and celebrations of the two cultures. “It's a wonderful bit of co-operation and collaboration between two Lord Mayors, Norwich City FC, Richard Mills and Barclays Bank,” said John Jennings, chairman of the Norfolk and Norwich Novi Sad Association.
