‘StinkyKids’ Clothing for Children Popular with Adults

In 2006, Britt Menzies decided to take her paintings of children and turn them into original printed T-shirts designs. Since then, her company, Stinkykids, has sold over 3,000 printed T-shirts online. “After having two of my own ‘StinkyKids,’ I was inspired to start a small business involving children that would allow me to exercise my creativity and, at the same time, set an example for my kids about the importance of giving back. StinkyKids has given me all of these opportunities. It has truly been an amazing journey!” said Menzies.With clothing lines for boys and girls, and different images for caucasion, African-American, and Asian American children, celebrating their unique heritage is easy and fun. Designs feature children in costume and children participating in their favourite activities.
In addition to creating a line of clothing specifically for children, Menzies also donates some of the profits to a charity called ‘Books, Bears, and Bonnets, Inc. that sends gifts to children and adults who have cancer. “I want my children and others to understand my motto: “Always Be A Leader Of Good,” I believe in giving back to those who need it most, and working with Books, Bears and Bonnets is just the first of several charities I hope to work with in order to continue to give,” said Menzies.
All clothing is made from 100% cotton and can be ordered online.
