the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.

New Technology ‘Ionx’ Increases Energy for Athletes

Thursday 06th of September 2007 02:39:47 AM

New Technology ‘Ionx’ Increases Energy for AthletesMaintaining energy on the court or field is important to athletes, especially during championship games. During this year’s Rugby World Cup, members of England’s team will be wearing undergarments that have a special coating that, according to current research, may increase their energy on the field.

To avoid any claims of tampering or inappropriate conduct, the International Rugby Board contacted the World AntiDoping Agency to make sure it was legal to wear the shirts.

Ionx technology provides energy to the wearer by taking advantage of a negatively charged electromagnetic field. When this field comes in contact with the body, it stimulates blood flow, which provides oxygen to the muscles as a faster rate. While the results are slight, players who work hard on the field need all the extra energy they can get.

Because of licensing agreements for promotional Clothing that feature the Nike brand, players on England’s rugby team will wear a shirt coated in Ionx underneath their jerseys. Players who will be participating in this trial include Phil Vickery, Andrew Sheridan, and Matt Stevens. Other teams in the championship will also be wearing shirts coated with Ionx including South Africa.

“I reckon having the performance edge that Ionx provides could prove invaluable when we take to the field for what could be a must win for both sides,” said Victor Matfield, of the Springbok lock.
