the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.

Eastpak to Expand in European Market

Sunday 23rd of September 2007 10:45:59 PM

Eastpak to Expand in European MarketStarted in 1960, US-based Eastpak, which manufactured mostly duffel bags and other gear for different military divisions, became a consumer favourite after launching a line of backpacks for kids. Branded as a quality manufacturer of outdoor gear, the company has sponsored a variety of outdoor sports including BMX, skateboarding, and much more. Now the company has decided to break into the European market.

"We are moving more and more into the lifestyle arena. The marketing we do, such as our skateboard and BMX contests and sponsoring concerts, reflects this. In mainland Europe we are known and accepted as a lifestyle brand. We are just facilitating that natural progression,” said Nadia Kokni, PR manager for Eastpak.

Eastpak plans on introducing more than just its backpacks, however. promotional Clothing including t-shirts, jackets, and other clothing mostly used for outdoor activities will be manufactured for the 2008 spring/fall season. If sales go as well as predicted, the company plans on releasing an autumn/winter line as well.

Because of Eastpak’s US popularity and growing international popularity, due in part to Satisfaction, the marketing company based in Brussels which has worked with Eastpak for the past five yeas, the company feels it will be successful in this new market.
