printed T-shirts designed to help end child labour that is prevalent in the clothing industry particularly in countries like Uzbekistan, will be sold at the upcoming London’s Fashion weekend. Sponsoring this campaign is the Environmental Justice Foundation, which is trying to bring awareness to consumers and those in the fashion industry of the exploitation of children in many parts of the world who are forced to perform different tasks which include picking cotton and working long hours sewing and washing fabrics used in the production of clothing. Fashion designers Luella Bartley, Christian Lacroix and Betty Jackson each donated time to design original printed T-shirts that will be sold at the event to raise money to help fight this injustice. All t-shirts to be sold were manufactured in countries that do not support the use of child labour. “It is the duty of the designer to be aware of such unbearable wrongdoings and to make the most people conscious of this fact,” said Lacroix.
The Environmental Justice Foundation hopes to increase consumer awareness by encouraging clothing manufacturers to include where the cotton they used to produce their clothing comes from so consumers can make the right decision by boycotting those who use cotton and other materials produced in countries where there are few child labour laws.

the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.
Delighted with the results. Very popular so repeat orders very likely.
great service, no problems at all
