the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.

Donating Football Shirts to Children in Uganda

Monday 01st of October 2007 04:08:55 AM

Donating Football Shirts to Children in UgandaFor dentist Roy Joffe, helping children in Uganda by offering free dental care through an organisation called DentAid is just one way he's giving back. Joffe, who was born in South Africa and who now lives in the UK will also be collecting promotional Clothing like used replica shirts to give to the children who attend Kasinde, a school located in south west Uganda.

"We have selected football shirts – because somehow these children are aware of the football leagues – and we have selected a school called Kasinde in south west Uganda to send them to. Kasinde, consists of more than 500 very poor children from peasant families. Because they love football so much, my staff and I have taken it upon ourselves to get as many football shirts from any clubs, to be sent to them. We have already sent one batch with the help of a very friendly and appreciative Ugandan Embassy," said Joffe.

Since most people have replica shirts and other football shirts they no longer wear, donating these promotional Clothing items can help children who may only have one outfit to wear each day. "In most African countries the differences between the haves and have nots are very extreme. There are still many areas with no water or electricity," said Joffe.

Shirts can be sent to Joffe's dental surgery, which is located in Upminster, UK. Instead of throwing away old shirts that no longer fit, donating them not only helps providing clothing to those who have limited resources, but also helps protect the environment.
