There are many online t-shirt printing websites that sell original artwork, but most of the artists are never compensated except if they win a contest. But a new site, Yooz.Us, promises artists a commission from the sale of their work and hopes to attract fans of anime, skateboarding, and other hobbies.Yooz.Us founder Jim Kim said about the new site, "A community for artists to upload art and have it sold as a T-shirt. Our target market are skateboarders. There has long been a strong tie between skaters and original art. This site is an attempt to bring the two worlds together to support one another."
The site is about more than selling printed T-shirts, however. Artists will be able to create blogs, communicate with visitors, and have their profiles bookmarked by popular social networking and bookmarking sites including Facebook and Digg. The company decided to include these features as a way to help artists promote their work as well as the site.
"We depend on great art. If the artists become active in our community website, it's just a matter of time before they start connecting with customers. The response we've seen so far has been great, and it's cool to log-on and see something original and new with each visit," said Kim. The site allows artists to retain full rights to the images they post and are paid on a monthly basis for the shirts that are sold.
All printed T-shirts are supplied by American Apparel. Even though the site is only a few days old, it has already generated hundreds of sales, which should continue to increase as more people discover it.

Good all round. Will order again.
the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.
