the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.

Printed T-shirts Featured In Art Show

Monday 08th of October 2007 11:49:41 PM

Printed T-shirts Featured In Art ShowFor one local art show in Rockford, Illinois, USA, printed T-shirts were the main attraction. Each year, the town hosts an art show for local artists to display their work, network with other artists, and maybe profit from the sale of some of their work. Everyone in the community was encouraged to attend this year's art show, which was set up in thirty-seven different locations around town. But out of all the displays, 'Saturated Threads', a display for artwork featured on printed T-shirts, was the most popular.

"T-shirts have their place in culture. And it’s attainable. Twenty dollars gets you art, and you get to wear it," said Pablo Korona, chair of the Visual Interest artist services committee. Over a dozen artists created shirts for the display that were also for sale. Those who attended the free event were allowed to take home their favourite designs after seeing them.

"We got a lot of people and a very eclectic crowd, too. I think that had to do with it being a T-shirt show. That’s not the normal kind of art show. It definitely brought people in who may have never been here before, but then stayed and had a bite to eat or something to drink," said Sarah Crawford, who allowed her business, Octane InterLounge, to be used for displaying the t-shirts.

Because printed T-shirts are very popular with people of all ages, including t-shirt designs in the art show was a smart idea. Not only were people allowed to view unique and interesting designs, they were also allowed to purchase them and wear them home.
