FESPA, the international screen printing and digital printing association, which serves to educate and teach the latest methods in t-shirt printing, digital printing, and garment decoration, recently invited the Screen Printing Association of Korea (SPAK) to become an associate member. This means the group will now be able to attend additional conferences, workshops, and other events that FESPA hosts during the year. Other countries in Asia that belong to FESPA include China, Thailand, and Japan."We attended our first FESPA exhibition in Amsterdam in 1984 and have been to every one since. Now, as an associate member, we are delighted to be able to offer our member's access to a number of resources that FESPA has to offer alongside the exhibitions," said Dong-Rip Park, president of SPAK.
FESPA will also share in the latest technology and printing techniques that those in Korea currently practice. By sharing these technologies, countries that produce promotional Clothing and other items using screen printing and digital printing techniques can only benefit by helping each other.
"The Asia-Pacific region as a whole is a significant player in the global screen and digital printing markets, and FESPA is committed to expanding its reach and influence into this region in cooperation with our associate members," said Nigel Steffens, chief executive of FESPA.
