Online T-shirt Site Bountee Uses Direct to Garment Printing

There are many online t-shirt printing sites that have grown popular over the last few years by allowing visitors to vote on popular t-shirt designs, sell their own designs, and share in some of the profits. One online company, Bountee, is trying to stay ahead of the competition by using direct to garment printing in which designs are printed onto t-shirts without using a screen or other traditional methods.Direct-to-garment printing allows companies to use more vibrant colors, create more intricate patterns, and create cleaner lines than using screen printing methods. It has also allowed companies like Bountee to print much smaller runs of shirts or print just one shirt per order if need be. Many smaller garment printers have switched to direct-to-garment printing as a way to save in overhead costs and accept smaller jobs without having to waste ink. Because of the way the ink is used, washing the t-shirt often will not fade the colors as easily as using other products such as transfer prints.
All companies need is a digital ink jet printer, ink that is made for fabrics, and a design. Once the design is uploaded, it can be printed onto a t-shirt within minutes. Some printers have driers built-in to decrease the drying time, while others still require the use of a heat press.
Bountee has only been in business for a few months, but they have already seen an increase in customer sales. Because of their ability to print and ship t-shirts quickly, they are able to meet customer demands while still creating a quality product.

the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.
Delighted with the results. Very popular so repeat orders very likely.
