the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.

T-shirts Donated for Charity Run

Tuesday 13th of November 2007 04:57:28 PM

T-shirts Donated for Charity RunChang Gung Memorial Hospital donated 4,000 printed T-shirts to the annual Terry Fox Cancer Research Run. The charity run will go to benefit cancer research, prevention and treatment. The run started at the Taipei City Hall plaza in Taipei, Taiwan on November 11, 2007. The donation of the 4,000 printed T-shirts is a way for the hospital to say thank you and encourage exercise.

The Terry Fox run is dedicated to the late Terry Fox who suffered from bone cancer in his leg but continued to run across North America. In 1976, Terry Fox ran cross-country through Canada and asked Canadians to donate one dollar for cancer research. Unfortunately, Fox passed away in 1981 when the cancer spread to his lungs. The Terry Fox run continues today in his honor to raise money for cancer research.

Those who took part in the run had a choice of running the 5 kilometer route across Taipei City Hall plaza, Singgao Road, Songren Road and Songshou Road or the 3 kilometer run starting from the plaza, through Jenai Road and Anhe Road. This worthy charity run has taken place in over 100 countries and raised more than US$400 million for cancer research. Donations come from ticket proceeds and money made during the event. The donations from this run in Taipei will be given to Chang Gung Memorial Hospital to further expand the research, prevention and treatment of its cancer patients.
