the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.

Scotland Celebrated First Alcohol Awareness Week

Wednesday 21st of November 2007 02:15:36 AM

Scotland Celebrated First Alcohol Awareness WeekOff Licence News reports that the Diageo Cardhu Distillery is the first in the campaign to increase alcohol awareness for Scotland residents. Last month, during the week of October 21rd Scotland celebrated their first week of Alcohol Awareness. Alcohol Awareness Week has been put into place for citizens to understand the amount of alcohol they consume so that they can limit their consumption.

Diageo Cardhu Distillery gave out unit calculators during Alcohol Awareness Week. These unit calculators will be able to tell consumers how much alcohol they are about to consume. That is not the only impact they were making on Alcohol Awareness Week, the distillery staff wore printed T-shirts. Promotional clothing such as the t-shirts helps to show customers that they support the Scottish government, health services and voluntary sector efforts to help people understand their drinking habits. They also ran two ads supporting responsible drinking during the week.

This campaign is helping the citizens of Scotland make informed decisions about their alcohol consumption. Making consumers aware of what they are drinking will make them think twice about how much they are drinking. This can have a great impact on some of the detrimental effects of people who drink too much such as health conditions as well as car accidents due to being under the influence.

Other retailers are being asked to take part in this campaign. A website has been created that will include many of the items you need to set up an alcohol awareness display. This website can be found at, www.alcoholawarenessweek.co.uk.
