the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.

Designers of Fighters + Lovers T-Shirts Found Not Guilty

Friday 14th of December 2007 09:25:13 PM

Designers of Fighters + Lovers T-Shirts Found Not GuiltyEarlier this year, seven young adults in Denmark had charges brought against them for printed t-shirts they designed with the Revolutionary Armed Forces Colombia and Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine logos. The t-shirts were being sold by the activist group, Fighters+Lovers and £3.50 of every t-shirt sale was being donated to one of these terrorism groups. Because of this, the designers and sellers were being charged with supporting terrorism.

Reported by Guardian Unlimited, Fighters+Lovers were found not guilty of supporting terrorism with their shirts. The Copenhagen court ruled that making donations to these groups was not considered being a part of terrorism. The basis for this ruling comes from the intentions of the group. The panel feels that the printed t-shirts were not meant to harm other or devastate political and economic systems. Since the group was not directly committing a crime, they felt that the group was not guilty of terrorism. There are many opinions for and against this judgment. The state prosecution will be appealing the decision. Until then, all money that was taken from the group from sales of t-shirts were returned to Fighters + Lovers. There has been no mention if the group will continue to sell these t-shirts. Fighters + Lovers may not have intended to support terrorism but the statement they made with their t-shirts caused concerned especially in these turbulent times.
