In a Kwintet August 2007 press release , Kwintet acquired the uniform service company Mercartura. Mercartura specializes in service wear for employees in the healthcare, retail, hotel and restaurant service. These uniforms are usually attractive and made for representation of a company. This uniform service will provide Kwintet with more to offer their customers in Europe to keep them as the number one uniform provider. Kwintet before the merger specialized only in uniforms for labour workers such as craftsmen and industry workers. This work wear provider designs and manufactures uniforms with the brand names of Wenaas, KLM, Kansas, Kleding, Fristads, Hejco, Active Wear, A-Code and B&C. Industri Kapital owns Kwintet and is excited about this advancement in the company.
Before the merger, Mercatura provided uniforms for companies such as DK Profashion, Koppe, Simon Jersey and Bragard. These companies are found in the UK, Germany and France. With the merger, the company is expected to take on more companies to provide professional uniforms to more countries throughout Europe. Kwintet will help Mercartura’s exposure and referrals. Companies will be able to order uniforms for many different departments and find all of their uniform needs through the combined services of Kwintet and Mercartura.
