Monday 07th of January 2008 11:49:53 AM
Harry Kent Catches Wilnis’ Shirt After the Ipswich defeat at the Coca-Cola Championship on December 29, 2007, Fabian Wilnis removed his uniform shirt and threw it into the crowd. Fabian Wilnis is a Blues defender. The club was not in favor of this and told Wilnis that he cannot do this. Wilnis felt that the fans needed to be recognized as much as the club especially because of their unwavering support.

EADT reports that Harry Kent is the lucky owner of this Wilnis shirt. Harry Kent who is 15 years old is a season ticket holder and regards Wilnis as one of his favourite players. He feels that the Blues shirt is a late Christmas gift and plans to preserve it. Harry Kent is such a dedicated player that he regularly leaves his school activities to attend games.

Fabian Wilnis threw his shirt into the crowd because he felt sorry for them because of the defeat. This player wants to give back to the fans and did just that even though he was breaking the club’s policy. His shirt has made a 15-year-old fan very happy and has given him a memory to last him a lifetime.
