Celebrities Show True Colours in Charity Fashion Campaign While Wearing T-Shirts

Friday 15th of August 2008 05:39:48 PM

Celebrities Show True Colours in Charity Fashion Campaign While Wearing T-ShirtsThe Fashion Targets Breast Cancer (FTBC) event in the UK attracted the assistance of a number of well known celebrities in its latest fund raising efforts. Celebrity charity endorsements can be instrumental in the success of a campaign for raising money for a charitable cause. The celebrities appeared in advertisements wearing t-shirts with the FTBC logo.

The t-shirt printing was done in blue and yellow making an attractive light hued logo. The advertising photos of the celebrities wearing their t-shirts were shot by famous photographer Rankin. Rankin is considered one of the world's best photographers. The celebrities wear their shirts with great pride and have donated their time for free. Participating celebrities participating in the advertising campaign include Natalie Imbruglia, Twiggy, Alan Carr and Anna Friel. Alan Carr is the first male to participate in the fund raising advertisements.

The t-shirts worn in the advertisements are the centre of attention. Some of the celebrities joke about their t-shirts in order to make the message memorable in the minds of viewers. For example, Anna Friel points out she likes to wear the t-shirt because the colours match her eyes. Carr says the shirts show "off his man boobs". Though some of the advertisements are delivered in a light hearted manner, the message is extremely serious. Breast cancer is a leading cause of early death for women and early detection saves lives.

The FTBC printed t-shirts are just one item in a summer clothing line offered for sale by FTBC. The logo hues are used throughout the fashion lines. The clothing choices include swimwear, casual wear and lingerie. In addition, you can purchase shopping bags and friendship bracelets. Anyone desiring to purchase t-shirts from the past ten years of fund raising campaigns can do so online at the "Target Breast Cancer" website.
