Huddersfield Charity Promotional Clothing Helps the Environment

The use of promotional clothing is commonly used by charities to raise money. It is so easy to choose a t-shirt or polo shirt and simply have your favorite logo or cause printed on it. The easy to order t-shirt printing has made it possible for even very small charities to initiate fund raising campaigns that are affordable. One mistake small charities make is spending so much on the fund raising activities that there is nothing left to spend on the cause itself.

Huddersfield has discovered how it easy it is to raise money selling printed t-shirts for charity. The Woodland Trust is the recipient of the t-shirt sales money and that money is used to buy and plant trees. The charity t-shirts are sold at Dorothy Perkins for £18 and £5 pounds is donated to the trust on each sale. The Woodland Trust is a conversation charity making an effort to keep the natural UK woodlands in pristine and healthy condition.

There are 4 different t-shirts to choose from. In the past there has been £2,000 raised dedicated to the purchase of trees. The £2,000 bought 386 trees. The Lower Hartley Ban Wood has been one of the beneficiaries of the new trees.

Any small charity can have the same fund raising success through the sale of printed t-shirts or promotional clothing. Not only can you raise money, but every time someone wearts the clothing, the cause is advertised.
