The Pentagon Channel is devoting its newest half-hour "Recon" documentary to the 3rd United States Infantry Regiment, otherwise known as the Army's "Old Guard." The documentary will be showing their viewers little known facts about this regiment, this Army unit is the only one allowed to march with fixed bayonets. The program will also be looking at the regiment's specialty platoons. These carry out meticulous missions and wear unusual uniforms that were originally designed by General George Washington at the time of the Revolutionary War. It is very hard to try to get into this unit and some people have tried numerous times to join. "I tried three times to get in," said Army Staff Sgt. Jake Newman. You need high scores on physical and technical tests as well as meeting the height restrictions. Once chosen, prospective applicants must undergo a month of regimental training. "Typically, we lose more than half the soldiers coming through the training cycle," said Sergeant First Class Brent Thompson. The unit is seen as a very unique organization and even some military personnel do not know what happens within it.
The crew was also invited to video sentinels at the Tomb of the Unknowns after cemetery visiting hours, when there are different rules for keeping watch from those that are seen when tourists are there during the day. Viewers will also find out details about the rules the Old Guard soldiers follow as they carry out their various duties. The Pentagon Channel was able to videotape the Old Guard service members while they were practicing maneuvers under the eyes of the drillmasters. The show will be shown on December 29 at noon Eastern Time and repeated again throughout January. This documentary will also be available via podcast, vodcast and video on demand.

the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.
Delighted with the results. Very popular so repeat orders very likely.
great service, no problems at all
