Dazed & Confused is a fashion and arts magazine published in the UK. It prides itself on being totally independent and of being able to maintain a creative attitude and approach. All too often companies start with the independent spirit which fades into triviality along the way. Dazed & Confused has somehow managed to avoid that trap though and its popularity continues to grow. When you read the magazine what you will find is an eclectic collection of articles and ads that include everything from trends in printed t-shirts to the latest art scene.
The most recent venture for the magazine is the DazedDigital Raw Blog awards. DazedDigital.com is the website run by Dazed & Confused for all independent thinkers. The new awards to be handed out are based on online votes in four categories. These categories are photography, arts, music, and fashion. Viewers can vote for what they consider to be the most innovative and dynamic online sites in these categories. Votes must be in by 31-July-2009 in order to be counted. Dazed & Confused hopes to use these awards to promote innovative thinkers and creativity. The winners will be announced on 1-September-2009.
Dazed & Confused is counted among the most creative fashion and arts venues. Because it has retained its independence, the magazine can include ground-breaking ideas that may not fit the current norms. The magazine is the result of the creative genius of Jefferson Hack and Rankin who is a photographer. The magazine has endured since 1992 during a time when other more traditional magazines have come and gone. The current editor is Rod Stanley. You never know what you will find in this magazine. It could be the latest in embroidered shirts or current fashions or a display of creative photographic shots. The magazine encourages everyone to go to DazedDigital and cast a vote.
