the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.

Terrier Made Famous For Drinking Beer

Ratty, the beer-drinking terrier is to be immortalized on printed T-shirts, after his regular pub visits were reported on a York news website.

Owner, Gary Kay, has been approached by a clothing entrepreneur, who believes the printed T-shirts he has in mind could be a real money-spinner.

The T-shirts will have a picture of Ratty, complete with a pint, on the front, and a computer generated image of Ratty on his back, with the slogan “Rat-*****!” on the back.

After hopping on a Number 10 bus, and taking a trip to the Black Bull public house in Hull Road, York, The Press reported his story, and soon after Ratty became a topic for discussion on Radio 2.

Ratty has stopped his visits to the pub, after the barmaid left, and the pub banned animals from the premises, but he’s believed to have found a new local - the Rose and Crown, Lawrence Street - according to Kay.

Kay, a Dunnington parish councilor said, “People are still talking about Ratty all the time. They were on about him on Radio 2 the other day. A bloke rang me up and asked if we wanted to do some Ratty t-shirts. He said he could get them printed easily enough so why not? I think we could make some money out of it because everyone knows Ratty.”

Kay originally got Ratty to keep down rodents at his farm until he became lame, and is keen to see where Ratty will celebrate New Year. "I've not seen him get on the bus recently. We normally let him pig out over Christmas and might treat him to some Bucks Fizz instead of beer as a treat,” Kay said.

The terrier goes everywhere with Kay, and schoolchildren have regularly shared their school bus with Ratty.

"I think the t-shirts will really take off because I've spoke to a few people about it and everyone wants one,” said Kay, "It would be a good laugh."
