the chance to review the image is great for checking everything over one last time before printing. the time between reviewing the print and delivery was another positive, taking only a couple of days. my friends were really pleased with the finished items. unfortunately i was out when the courier called. he didn't note the date or time of his attempted delivery on his card and he hadn't filled in when or if he would attempt delivery again. on repeatedly phoning the company on a friday between 4:50 and 6 i got no answer. i then tried again on the monday morning, but once again i got no answer. after phoning clothes2order they resolved everything. i realise this is outwith the control of clothes2order, but it soured an otherwise excellent service.

New Year, New Uniform for Czech Airlines

Monday 01st of January 2007 08:07:24 PM

New Year, New Uniform for Czech Airlines

The Czech Airlines are starting their new year with a new uniform for their staff. They have been using their existing uniforms for over nine years and have decided to go for a more elegant look. The new uniforms and additional accessories are now representing the airline's colors, which are blue, red and white. Four bidders applied for the tender to supply and design a new range of uniform. The apparel manufacturer OP Prostejov won the bid and said that they will be using nanotechnology-based fabrics to make more durable and easy to maintain fabrics. The company also chose fabrics that would prove comfortable to the wearer, that gives a wrinkle free appearance, is colorfast, tear resistance and water-resistant. The new look for the uniforms is a dark blue suit with some red accents. It was designed to give a look of professionalism and make the staff easily distinguishable to the passengers traveling with Czech Airlines.

Different accessories are worn by staff, according to their position within the company. Pilots have a gold necktie and VIP service staff have uniforms equipped with silver accessories. The new range also includes the diamond symbol, which is the logo for the airline company. This is featured on all the new apparel. On the women's jacket pockets are Swarovski stones, which make a positive addition. The company first introduced uniforms in 1920 just after the airline service began. The company is hoping that this new style of uniform will help their customers identify the staff easier such as in busy airports. The company has over two and half thousand employees to kit out in their new stylish uniform.
