Ordering custom branded workwear from Clothes2order is exciting. We help businesses and individuals kitting out a team for an event, refreshing staff uniforms, or just making their brand look sharp. But before you hit “order”, there are a few things worth double-checking to make sure everything turns out just right.
Here are four common hiccups we help customers avoid every day:
Colour Clashes
It might sound obvious, but it happens more than you’d think: a black logo on a black polo, or white text on a light grey shirt. If your design colour blends into the garment, it won’t pop, unless that’s the look you’re going for. If you’re unsure, just add a note when ordering. Our team can tweak colours or suggest alternatives to make sure your branding stands out.
This is especially important when ordering garments like the Fruit of the Loom polos or other staple items where colour options vary widely.

Small Embroidery Detail
Embroidery is a brilliant way to add a premium touch to your workwear, but it has its limits. Tiny text and intricate details often get lost in the stitching. For embroidered workwear, bold and simple designs work best. If your logo has fine lines or small fonts, consider simplifying it or switching to a print method that handles detail better.

Artwork Quality
To get crisp results, whether you’re printing on business shirts or hoodies your artwork needs to be high quality. We recommend sending files at 300 DPI at actual size. If you’re not sure how to check that, don’t worry. We can redraw your artwork if needed (unless it’s super complex). Just let us know.
Different print methods also have different requirements, so we’ll guide you through what works best for your chosen garments.
Copyrighted Designs
We love creativity, but we can’t print famous logos, characters, or copyrighted artwork unless you own the rights. That means no Marvel, Nike, or memes pulled from Google. Make sure your design is original or that you have permission to use it.
