If you are a charity looking to increase your brand awareness, you can’t do better than printing your own custom t-shirts. This simple act has the potential to turn every one of your supporters or volunteers into a walking advertisement for your cause and the good news is that with Clothes2order, there’s no minimum order quantity, so t-shirts can be affordably printed on small print-runs if required.

We live in a social media age. Dozens of photos and videos will appear on Facebook, Tik Tok and Instagram, which will in turn be shared and retweeted to an audience of potentially thousands of sponsors, friends, family and acquaintances – many of whom might themselves be potential supporters hearing of your charity or organisation for the first time.

So if there is one marketing item you should spend money on this year, make it a run of t-shirts for your supporters and volunteers.

They are easy to design and produce; and will be an ‘appeal’ that keeps giving, time and time again.

We recently caught up with one of our customers, Rachel Northover, the Fundraising Manager for African Adventures to learn about the upcoming trips the inspirational organisation has got lined up for this year and how custom branded clothing brings their team together.

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself and what you do?

My name is Rachel and I am the Fundraising Manager for African Adventures. I’ve been here for nearly 10 years and I love working for such a dynamic and inspirational organisation.

2. Tell us a little bit about the upcoming trips and what’s next for African Adventures?

African Adventures’ busy period is well underway, with our Easter trips having taken place a few weeks ago, we also have our busiest ever summer programme ahead. It is fantastic to have such large numbers of volunteers travelling with us again, allowing us to provide the support our partner schools need to assist with their development.

3. What do you use your branded clothing for?

We use branded clothing for our volunteer groups to wear whilst fundraising and whilst on their trip. Our most recent order has been for branded t-shirts for an African Adventures team challenge event on the Isle of Wight. We typically order cotton t-shirts for our volunteers but we ordered AWDis Cool t-shirts for this sporting event, and the material is perfect.

4. Why is branded clothing important to you and your team? How does it make you feel?

Branded clothing helps to unify our team and shows our pride at raising money for our organisation.

5. Why do you think branded clothing is important for volunteer trips?

Branded clothing helps our volunteers feel like they are a part of our mission, and gives them a team identity. It also provides credibility and security for volunteers, being associated with our organisation, as it is recognised in our host communities.

6. In terms of marketing and getting the African Adventures name out there, what do you do to increase your awareness?

We market our brand via social platforms, emails, branded clothing and other items, and presentations.

7. Why did you choose the brands and products you ordered?

The products I ordered most recently are for an event we are taking part in. The material choice relates to the fact that it is a sporting event that the team is participating in.

8. Why did you choose Clothes2order? 9. Would you recommend us?

I chose Clothes2Order for our event t-shirts because we consistently receive good quality volunteer t-shirts. Pricing is fair and service is friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend Clothes2Order.
