Amblers Calderdale Safety Boot

The Calderdale hiking boot is a fully non-metal safety boot built to meet the demands of both rugged outdoor and industrial environments. Crafted with a rip-stop material and reinforced with Thermo-plastic Polyurethane (TPU) for additional support, the boot offers superior durability and lightweight flexibility. Its composite fibre glass toe cap provides 200 joules of impact resistance, while the non-metallic midsole offers penetration resistance up to 1100N.

Featuring a breathable waterproof membrane and mesh inner lining, the Calderdale ensures comfort and dryness no matter the conditions. Its moulded TPU toe guard and heel counter provide extra durability and support for challenging terrains. Designed with reflective laces and a YKK side zip for easy wear, this boot combines advanced protection with modern style.

Safety Standards & Certifications

The Calderdale complies with the latest EN ISO 20345:2022 S7S FO HRO SR ESD European safety standards:

• S7S: 200-joule impact and compression-resistant composite toe cap, anti static construction with enegry absorbant heal along with an water resistant upper. Penetration resistant outsole: Average penetration value is not less than 1100N. Tested for general risks with a nail 3mm in diameter (relevant for risks such as sewing needles or hypodermic needles).Water Resistant.
• FO: Resistance to fuel oil of outsole.
• HRO: Resistance to High Heat 300°c.
• SR:  Tested on a ceramic tile surface with glycerine. The heel & forepart has also been tested, not just the flat.
• ESD - Electro Static Dissipative Footwear: ESD Footwear is designed specifically for the electronic components manufacturing and assembly industries. ESD conforms to EN 61340-5-1.
